Kimberly was born and raised in Louisiana, home of Jazz, Mardi Gras and some of the most unique cuisines of the United States. She got to appreciate good food by helping mama and grandma in the kitchen and by taking trips to other cities and states with her granddad to sample the local cuisines. She’s been cooking since age ten, expanding her repertoire by asking for the recipe every time she’s eaten something special. Love made her move to the Netherlands where she now spreads her love for Cajun, Creole, Tex-Mex, Soul Food and BBQ to foodies, expats and anyone else who’s looking for a slice of Southern hospitality.

Kimberly is geboren en getogen in Louisiana, de staat van Jazz, Mardi Gras en de meest unieke keukens van de Verenigde Staten. Al van jongs af aan hielp ze oma en mama in de keuken, en nam opa haar mee naar andere steden en staten om de lokale gerechten te proeven. Ze kookt al zelfstandig vanaf haar tiende, en vraagt bijna altijd om het recept als ze ergens iets bijzonders heeft gegeten. Zo heeft ze gaandeweg haar repertoire van Cajun, Creole, Tex-Mex, Soul Food en BBQ uitgebouwd. maar ze blijft experimenteren om haar gerechten elke keer weer iets lekkerder te maken. De liefde bracht haar naar Nederland, waar ze nu haar liefde voor Southern food overbrengt aan foodies, expats en iedereen die maar wil proeven.
